In 1985, I began my career as a commercial appraiser with Trans-Texas Land Services in Austin, Texas. From 1985 to 1988, I worked with the firm, specializing in eminent domain, and contributed to the commercial appraisal and right-of-way acquisition departments. From 1988 to 1992, I served as Vice President of McCluskey-Jenkins Appraisal, Inc. in Austin, where I focused on the analysis and valuation of commercial real estate.
In March 1992, I relocated to Las Vegas and co-founded Morgan, Beebe & Harper, Inc., which had been incorporated in Texas on February 20, 1992. This partnership ended in late 1997, though the Texas corporation was officially dissolved on January 12, 2000. Meanwhile, I formed a new Nevada corporation, Morgan, Beebe & Harper of Nevada, Inc., on December 28, 1999, in which I am the sole shareholder.
On August 28, 1998, I formed Valuation Consultants, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, in partnership with others. This firm, doing business as Snyder-Harper & Associates, operated until the partnership dissolved on April 1, 2006, with formal dissolution recorded on July 28, 2006. From April 1, 2006, through December 31, 2012, I operated as the sole owner of Morgan, Beebe & Harper of Nevada, Inc., doing business as Valuation Consultants.
On January 1, 2013, Larry Snyder, MAI, and I established Harper-Snyder & Associates, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, which operated as Valuation Consultants until December 31, 2014. Since January 1, 2015, I have been the sole owner of Harper Appraisal, Inc., a Nevada corporation, continuing operations as Valuation Consultants.
